Chaplains, affectionately known as 'The Bish' in the @RoyalNavy, play an important role in supporting our people. A Warship is their parish as they minister at sea, in the field and on a global scale. @of_fleet @DartmouthBRNC bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england…

Naval chaplaincy is a unique ministry. Chaplains carry no rank other than Chaplain @RoyalNavy allowing them direct access to all sailors and marines at sea and in the field. @of_fleet

The most charitable thing this makes me hope for is a better public understanding of both theology and science, and for a better quality of conversation. Such risible pseudo-critique isn’t going to get anyone very far!
