You may have noticed Firezone connections getting a lot faster lately. That’s connlib v2: the latest version of our in-house NAT traversal and connectivity engine, now shipping in all Firezone clients. To achieve this we ripped out all the STUN/TURN/ICE protocol overhead, leaving nothing on the wire but WireGuard packets.

What do people use for automated UI-tests of @htmx_org websites? Is selenium still the way to go? I liked Cypress but don't really want to go back to a JS stack again after I am finally getting rid of it with @htmx_org :)

Ideally, the test runner is language-agnostic to the backend language (currently Java) because I am planning to rewrite that too and would like to keep the tests.

Basically what I'd want is: $ ./test-runner --url=http://localhost:8080 --test=./tests/login-workflow.ui-test Where `test-runner` will start the headless browser etc. Does something like that exist?

cargo-semver-checks prevented another real-world semver issue 🎉 It definitely won't catch *everything* yet, but it's already useful and getting better every week. It feels good to see hard work paying off.

screen-shoting because I don’t want to dog pile someone being genuine on twitter, but also want to show where we are as an industry: in many circles, returning HTML to an HTTP request isn’t just considered idiosyncratic, it’s a show stopper we have a lot of work to do friends!

Hey friends, come to the Sydney rust meet up this Wednesday! I'll be live demoing building our own "serverless" platform on top of v8 and deno. There'll be js, sqlite, http serving, and most importantly a cool bunch of people 😁

Pretty excited about @flydotio's new hosted grafana offering although I wish I could set alerts too. Any plans for that?

This turned out much simpler than anticipated, it is literally less than 20 LoC, including fly.io's TOML!
