@TomSilvaTOH Tom, many insulation companies boast superior insulation properties of cellulose over fiberglass. Some state you just have to use more fiberglass, while some state fiberglass is highly ineffective at insulating even if added at the same r-values as cellulose. We have
r20 loose fill fiberglass currently in the attic and have a quote from one company for adding cellulose on top which will compress it down to around r14 but added cellulose to make it r40 overall, and another company wants to add more loose fill fiberglass. We live in OKC
