It keeps the Classic’s teardrop fuel tank and nacelle headlamp, with changes limited to paint and detailing. The main change is the Hypershift paint, which shifts between shades of red, green and gold depending on how light hits it. It sits on a brass base, a reference to the earliest Royal Enfield motorcycles from 1901. Other additions include a gilded 125-year crest, special side-panel badging and hand-painted pinstripes. The 1.2-litre mStallion TCMPFi turbo petrol engine makes 82 kW and 200 Nm in both CNG and petrol modes, with torque available from 1,500 to 3,500 rpm. Mahindra claims the highest torque among CNG passenger vehicles in India. It also quotes 0-60 km/h in 4.9 seconds and 0-100 km/h in 11.8 seconds in CNG mode, and a certified efficiency of 24.7 km/kg. The twin CNG cylinders sit under the luggage area, which keeps a flat loading floor and 270 litres of boot space. The car switches to petrol automatically when CNG runs low or a gas leak is detected. .@Stellantis has announced its next growth phase in India under FaSTLAne 2030. @JeepIndia and @CitroenIndia will launch 12 products over the next three years, made up of seven all-new models and five major upgrades. The lineup covers B, C and D-segment SUVs, an MPV, an A-segment car and a premium pickup, split between 5 Jeep and 7 Citroën launches. The first product is scheduled for Q2 2027. The company will invest about ₹4,000 crore (around €400 million) over this period, taking its cumulative India investment from over ₹11,000 crore to roughly ₹15,000 crore by 2030. The portfolio will span ICE, hybrid, plug-in hybrid and battery-electric powertrains, with the choice depending on segment, affordability, regulation and infrastructure readiness. Localisation is targeted at 90% across both brands, and the Brand House format will be used to expand into Tier-2 and Tier-3/4 markets. Stellantis currently runs three plants in India, at Ranjangaon, Thiruvallur and Hosur, and exports to around 50 countries. India-developed vehicles are also planned for export under the group's Asia-Pacific strategy.
