@nitaihershkovits plays an incredible, imaginative and truly inspiring solo on each tune in this album. He takes you somewhere and brings you back - different. Pre order: skyrivermusic.com
After a couple of weeks of not playing my priority is usually getting my ornaments back. I know, I could also get a haircut. But ornaments make me feel better.

I’m simply speechless holding this incredible work of art by David Bayo (@davidbayo_art). It reminds me of what I wanted to become an artist for. The total and complete pause one feels when seeing something truly beautiful. Beauty is truth. Thank you David.
Thinking about my nephew Noam and my niece Avigail. I’m pretty good at writing songs about them, so the jazz press has said, but they don’t know that I’m exceptional at carrying them on my shoulders and getting my hair destroyed. The latter is objectively better 🧙🏼♂️
Not my usual repertoire but this was requested by @renataortopedia and I can’t say no to my sister in law 😇

My One And Only Love - Wood / Mellin
Playing a standard means you have to connect to the words - even if you don’t play them. They dictate the phrasing (and meaning) of what you do play, and are part of the beauty of the song.

Free Jazz is in itself, at least to its pioneers, a genre of protest. While Make A Sound is a lot more ‘tonal’ than a lot of this music, it’s definitely inspired by that spirit of trusting the moment to say more than we can ever plan.

Radial Artery was the first time we played together as a group. I can’t fully explain how it became the first track of the album, though to me, it has to do with the subject: grief. It finds you wherever you are.
