Teenage Fanclub in Chester. There were times when I thought I wouldn’t make it; but we’re here, I have a seat & all is good.
Fanclub double thumbs 👍🏻 👍🏻
Such plans for today. Heading to Blackpool; airshow, lots to see with Rebellion going on, record shops, geek shops. Ice cream on the front …

Looking for a single ticket for @TeenageFanclub at Chester Live Rooms (10th August) I expected to remain in hospital, but have been discharged early. Any help gratefully appreciated 👍🏻
Anything that encourages people to explore Arab Strap and earns Aidan & Malcolm some PRS is fully supported by me!
Day 16 @ hospital: Sat to watch the ITV adaptation of Val McDermid’s cold case crime drama ‘Karen Pirie’ . What a treat to hear @ArabStrapBand ‘The Turning of Our Bones’ as its theme tune.
Day 14 @ Hospital: Slept much better, exhaustion eventually overwhelmed, and they left me. I emerged from behind my curtains to see everyone washed, dressed, sat in their chair & eating breakfast!
2025 has brought so much hard hitting & thought provoking television. Top is ‘Unforgoveable’; exemplary written by Jimmy McGoven, exceptional cast, beautifully filmed & understated throughout. bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0…
Although not a particularly joyous watch when you’re in hospital & need cheering up, it’s true #Unforgivable
“If this is what you want? I’ll document and pass it on to the day team!”
“Could we not have avoided all of this, and just not woken me & waited?”
Trail of staff pop in to apologise. Rupert feels guilty.
*PLAN REPEAT FRIDAY*
