The results of this weekend’s National Pickleball Windy City Classic were bittersweet.
Friday: Men’s singles was canceled.
Saturday: Mixed Doubles. In our first match, my wonderful partner fell and badly broke her wrist.
Sunday: Men’s Doubles. Jim Murphy and I took the gold. – at Prospect Heights, IL

This will be my final tweet regarding my sweet Lena.
We're heartbroken. She's been with us on many adventures. She's telling us now she's in pain and it's time. I just can't describe how we are feeling at the moment.
Fly high my darling Lena.
