Dear friends and supporters, We are facing two urgent battles at once: finding enough food for our children, our family, and our rescued cats, and repairing the damaged home that is supposed to protect us all. 🌧️ Our first fear is the approaching winter. The bombardment during the war left our home with deep cracks in its walls, holes in the roofs, and damage that urgently needs repair. As heavy rain, cold weather, and winter storms approach, these openings threaten to let water inside, leaving our living spaces damp, cold, and unsafe. Our children and family need a home that can protect them from the elements. The rescued cats in our care also need a dry, secure shelter where they can escape the cold and rain. We urgently need materials and repairs to seal the gaps, reinforce damaged walls, and make the roofs safer before winter arrives. We are terrified of facing another season of hardship without adequate protection. 💔 At the same time, putting food on the table and filling the cats' bowls is becoming harder every day. Border crossings have been closed until further notice, disrupting the arrival of essential supplies. Food has become increasingly scarce, and prices have risen sharply. The money we depend on to feed our children and family, provide basic necessities, and care for our rescued cats is running out. Donations have slowed significantly, leaving us struggling to cover even our most urgent needs. We cannot simply stop feeding those who depend on us. Our children need meals, our family needs basic necessities, and our rescued cats need daily food to survive. Yet we are being forced to confront these needs while our resources continue to disappear. 🙏 This is why we are asking you to stand with us now.
