Congratulations Stella. Marvellous achievement. Where do you get the time 😳
I just received this :
Dear Dr O'Malley
I am very pleased to let you know that the Senatus Academicus has now considered the report of the Examining Committee on your thesis and decided to grant you the award of Doctor of Philosophy for a thesis titled: Parents’ Perspectives on Gender Dysphoria in Childhood and Adolescence .
Yay!!
I hear the pathetic trolls aren’t bleating on about my qualifications anymore 🤪🤪

Sorry I could not attend the meeting as here in Turin with mayors of cities with 21 million residents. It’s key to recall Limerick needs 14 of these developments - not over the life of this council but every year for 5 years. We should be asking where are the next 69 of them.
I was very disappointed this evening to attend a meeting with the Land Development Agency regarding the Gasworks site on the Dock Road which included some invited residents, while many local residents were not made aware of it. I had understood this meeting was for councillors only and believe the wider community should have had the opportunity to attend.
Despite my frustration, I will continue to focus on the key issues surrounding this development so far — particularly the lack of parking proposed for the site and the impact this could have on surrounding streets. I will also be pushing to explore the possibility of using one of the commercial units as a social enterprise space in partnership with Limerick City and County Council. I will also be pushing for more greening around this area as the works develop🌳
I will ensure residents are informed well in advance of the next meeting on this development. The LDA are hoping to go to tender on this site by the end of the year

You’re absolutely right John. When we see what this terrorist Ben-Givr is happy to do to EU and other country citizens in public, we can only imagine how the misfortunate Palestinians are being treated in Israeli detention centres in Gaza, the West Bank and Israel itself 😰

Brilliant stuff from @MaeveHalligan. Very articulate, reasoned debunking of the dangerous Trans ideologues. @stellaomalley3

Jamie Barron hooking his arm. Preventing him from swapping sides. Would have been harsh to penalise Limerick for that. Common sense reffing.
Excellent analysis here by @chrisocfl. Think this tough battle will do Limerick team a power of good.

Western society is currently divided between people who know this is a man and are prepared to say so and those who know this is a man but lie out of obedience to an ideology. There is no third option. Literally nobody on earth thinks "Roxanne Tickle" is actually a woman.

Incredibly disappointing to see this. It is galactically inappropriate for the President of Ireland to act as a patron to Belong To, a very well funded lobby group for the medicalisation of children’s identities.
We know these procedures cause harm. Children can’t consent to the loss of sexual functioning and infertility because they don’t understand the consequences of this. This is an unfolding medical scandal.

This is an absolutely brilliant dissection of the damage and danger being fomented by Trans ideologues. @stellaomalley3

Every single word of this is just brilliant.
I hope students across Ireland see Maeve and find the courage to speak up against this madness.

lIf you do anything today, watch @MaeveHalligan at the Cambridge Union. I genuinely think this was the first time many people in that room were confronted with the hard reality of the trans debate, rather than the slogans that usually surround it.
@BuckAngel was exceptional: calm, articulate, humane. Ultimate respect.
And then there was Helen Webberley. I remember once thinking the criticism directed at her by GC women was excessive, especially the claim she was ‘pure evil’. After hearing her speak, I no longer think that. She is totally insincere. I can deal with hard ideologues- they believe they are telling the truth; they are genuine, @HelenWebberley is different.
One audience member, a trans-identified male and former patient of hers, stood to speak during points of information. His account of how he had been treated was deeply disturbing.
Watch the full debate. It is worth your time.
