This is what a presidential aspirant had to say after the shooting.
Are we not mad in this country, to still let this human into power?
We heard him say this, yet we expect him to act differently.

A Visit To The Historic Amorka/Uli Airstrip, Also Known As The Biafra Airport, Reveals The Remains Of a Remarkable Chapter In Igbo History. This Is The Very Runway That Was Built In Just 3 Days Shortly After The Nigerian Civil War Broke Out. The Fact That Such a Feat Was Accomplished Within Such a Short Period Is Truly Remarkable. Today, Historical Traces Of The Airstrip Still Remain, Yet Many Igbo People Know Little About This Important Part Of Their History. We Must Preserve, Document, And Pass Our History On To Future Generations, Because A People Who Fail To Protect Their Past Risk Losing Their Heritage. #IgboAmaka❤️✊🏿

Dating women who are struggling financially is one mistake I am glad I have never made and do not ever plan to make.
They are only with you for what they can gain from you. There is no broke woman from a poor home that has any genuine love to give to a rich man.
You are simply a means to an end.
“I Once Dated a Man I Didn’t Like Because Of Money. At The Time, I Was Going Through Financial Difficulties, And He Came Along. Honestly, He Wasn’t My Type, Either In Appearance Or In Terms Of My Personal Standards. I Knew The Kind Of Man I Truly Wanted. So, I Dated Him For The Money And Eventually Broke Up With Him When The Kind Of Man I Wanted Came Along. Today, I’m Married To That Man.” ~ Lady Speaks At KayHikerClub 👀

Only a jobless woman who got a car from a rich man would start looking down on a man because he doesn’t have one. Imagine borrowing your lifestyle from one man and using it to measure another man’s worth.

A Catholic priest in Ecuador was preaching about death, and the importance of giving one's life to God, moments before a crucifix fell on him and killed him during a livestreamed Mass on Saturday.
Father Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari, a 53-year-old Redemptorist priest, was celebrating Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Guayaquil, Ecuador's largest city.
"Dear brothers and sisters, one day, all of us here will also die…" he told the congregation.
He returned to the point: "Dear brothers and sisters, one day we will all die, and the time we spent on trivial things will prove far less meaningful than the time we invested in God."
"The quality time we gave to Him, to our brothers and sisters, to our spouses, to our children, and to our families… That is time well spent, dear brothers and sisters."
Moments later, the large wooden crucifix behind the altar came loose and struck him on the head. Worshippers rushed to help him, but he did not survive.
The Archdiocese of Guayaquil has confirmed his death. What caused the crucifix to fall remains unknown.

I don’t know how to say it but every Nigerian needs to watch this video several times over. Like watch and watch again and again and then make sure your neighbors, friends and family also get to watch it.
25% income Tax already passed in the house and they’re waiting for their illusive victory in 2027 to actually implement it. This is literally like going back to the slavery era. I can swear there’s no real human being running Nigeria. I think the people are being run by wicked aliens. All these political guys are just aimless, robotic figure heads.
I warned you guys that Macron’s involvement in the tax system will replicate Ivory Coast’s slavery era tax architecture in Nigeria. Ivory Coast had the highest statutory marginal personal income tax rate in the world at about 60% until just recently when Denmark surpassed it with 0.5% at 60.5%. Think about it, 60%! An African country that’s the highest cocoa producing country in the world by a huge margin at between 1.6 to 2.6 million tonnes of cocoa per year! This is where APC and their evil, conscienceless dumbs are taking everyone to.
More natural resources like you have in Nigeria and Ivory Coast shouldn’t mean more taxation. It should mean more nationalization of resources, more tax breaks and relief for the people and more economic empowerment and upliftment. Gaddafi did it in Libya.
Excessive taxation in the midst of plenty, as is the case with Ivory Coast and now Nigeria, means that nearly all the income generated from your natural resources go to the colonial powers, and your nation survives only on borrowed money and taxing its people to the hilt. Prove me wrong and I’ll quit social media entirely. This is the hell we’re living under Tinubu.
Imagine the pains, suffering and poverty in the land when they haven’t even implemented it. Imagine the number of companies that have left and jobs lost. There is no week that passes that I don’t have to send out hundreds of thousands of Naira to support individuals and families in Nigeria, mostly people who have been doing well for themselves only a few months ago but no longer have any income. No tribe has been exempted.
So imagine what life would look like with a 25% income tax. People will eat themselves. Broad daylight armed robbery will return. Open rape and human trafficking will become the other of the day. Those who have zero wits will just drop like flies and die. This is just a sneak peek into the apocalyptic future the @OfficialAPCNg is hoping to usher you into if Nigerians don’t rise above tribal sentiments to end this nightmare.
A word, they say, is enough for the wise. You’ve now got more than just a word. Do something with it.

Saw this on one of my Whatsapp groups.
EKEDC IN DESPERATION
_____
I installed an 18kW solar power system at my property in Lekki Phase 1, relegating EKEDC supply to a backup status. Since then, I have been having more frequent visits from personnel of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC), coming to check my prepaid meter.
On one of those visits, the EKEDC team stood watching the meter for motion to indicate consumption. When the meter wasn't moving, they called me to say they suspected I had bypassed the meter. I told them I had enough solar power for my daytime needs and only used their supply as a backup for the dark hours. To prove this to them, I switched on my inverter bypass for about 2 minutes so my consumption would be from EKEDC. They saw the meter rotating normally. They were visibly upset and one of them mumbled something like "This ọ̀gá no wan gree us chop". They left.
Today (19-Oct-2026), three of them came to my premises with a notice of disconnection. The last time I loaded an EKEDC token was in July 2026 and I still had ample units left. When I asked why they would disconnect me, they said the reason was "LOR" (Loss of Revenue). They said my slow consumption indicates a faulty meter and I had to pay them ₦112,606 for loss of revenue.
I told them my meter was not faulty and that they could test it if they wanted. The lady said they were losing revenue and they had to make up for it.
I didn't know whether to laugh or to be angry. I have no intention of paying EKEDC a dime for its loss of revenue due to my taking steps to protect my interest.
But, I share this story for all who are investing in solar power to know that the DisCos are now desperate. They now have "Loss of Revenue" as a reason for your disconnection from their supply. It is simply that they are not making enough money from you.
I am waiting for EKEDC to disconnect me from their grid before I lodge a formal complaint to the regulatory authority.
We are in interesting times in Nigeria!
