Today marks one month since I launched #TheResilienceTribune—a platform born from pain, heartbreak, and the relentless pursuit of healing. On November 19, I chose to honor a deeply personal chapter of my life not with sorrow, but with strength. What began as a day I once envisioned celebrating the born day of someone I thought I’d spend forever with, became the beginning of something greater: a space to share stories of resilience, perseverance, and hope. 🙏🏽 Over the past few months, I’ve poured my heart into creating this video with the help of @dfsphotography to show you the making of @TRPTribune and offer a glimpse into what’s next—the announcement of #TheResilienceProject documentary set to premiere in the Fall of 2025. This journey has been anything but easy. It has pushed me to the edge and demanded every ounce of strength I didn’t know I had. But here’s what I’ve learned: resilience is not about the absence of pain. It’s about embracing it, learning from it, and rising above it. The Resilience Tribune is for anyone who has faced life’s darkest moments and chosen to keep moving forward. I want to give a special thanks to @Lloyiso_rsa for creating a beautiful song, “Give a Little Kindness”. This song has become the anthem of the #ResilienceTribune, perfectly capturing the heart of this journey and reminding us of the power of kindness in our healing. To everyone who has supported my project along the way—your encouragement has been the light in my darkest hours. Today, I am supposed to be celebrating the birthday of the person who I thought was the love of my life. Instead, I am launching a new platform: @TRPTribune. This year has tested me beyond anything I ever imagined, challenging my mental strength and pushing me to the brink. But in the face of what I thought would break me, I found faith, perseverance, and, most importantly, resilience. I am launching #ResilienceTribune for those who share similar stories—for those who have faced countless obstacles and challenges yet remained true to themselves, given themselves another chance, and worked towards a better future. This platform is for every person who has chosen to rise from the ashes and continue their journey with renewed strength. The Resilience Tribune is officially launched today, November 19, 2024.
