Extra smooth flight with @SingaporeAir tonight from Frankfurt to Singapore. Smart move to be extra cautious - made for a great flight!

Latest Amazon order may seem unusual to some, but these two items are related. Item#1 is the book I've been meaning to get for a while now (always good to have new strategies for pitching Threat Modeling to teams who still don't get it). Item#2 is the r…lnkd.in/gMMzia_X

Hey @TradeMe - help me understand why (1) You don't have MFA, and (2) Why you're telling people to regularly change passwords (well known people start using predictable passwords if forced). Maybe #2 is because you don't have #1?

Watched movie Free Guy. Didn't realise it had @TaikaWaititi. Favorite bits were 1. Him saying Bro. 2. Him saying "What you talkin about Willis" 3. Use of Greatest American hero theme. Nice touch 8-)

Latest threat modeling toys arrived at my office in NZ. @adamshostack - love the notebook and cheat sheet on back.

Booked our usual GC haunt for October. Using credit from Webjet was mega stressful but wasn't going to lose $1000
Good morning from Paradise 😍

Was filling in a form to download a document and one of the fields was labelled "State". I answered "Relatively stable" - not sure if that's what they were meaning though?

Enjoyed the movie Blackbird tonight staring @TwoPaddocks. Suspect the scenes involving pottering around the garden with chickens and drinking wine didn't take too much effort (seemed to reflect normal life).

2 weeks ago I was feeling quite overwhelmed on how to best introduce Threat Modeling across our global org. But luckily I'm subscribed to @edgeroute. Turns out the questions I was struggling with are universal 8-). Awesome work.

Question. The NZ Covid app is supposedly standalone (ie sends nothing unless you approve it). So how do they know how many scans per day are occurring?

Still to this day nobody has been able to explain why we couldn't have followed GDPR laws and set the fine at a percentage of global revenue versus a "slap with a wet bus ticket" level of NZD$10k.

Quite possibly the best job advert ever. It not only describes the job, but tells you a lot about the culture (=so critical; you will often spend more time with your colleagues than anyone else!)

For the record: why havent more NZ businesses setup contact tracing QR codes? Simple. The process is unnecessarily complex. How about click on a map and confirm contact details? Versus realme ids, sending drivers license details to a 3rd party or other insane methods.
