Rivian really needs to fix this. It happens almost every time I try to put it into drive in the R2. It’s at the SC for the cup holder. Let’s see if this is a software issue or something else. Much worse now since the last update. @RivianTrackr @Hilbe

My digital key functionality being tested right now at the service center. 1-2 emails a minute for the last hour. Still going. They removed the key and attempted to add it on a device for testing. Apparently my digital key is waiting...

Forgot to post final data for the roadtrip with the rooftop tent on the R2. Had to cut the trip short to take care of some things at home, but overall no issues. I have some data from Rivian Roamer for segments but its incomplete due to cell coverage gaps. @Hilbe @RivianTrackr

Seems to be limited to just California and Florida at the moment which is disappointing. Should be interesting to see it in action.

The backlash on the Apple HomeView is interesting. This is no different from the Google Nest Hub Max. Primary use case is interacting with Siri, a digital photo frame, and to play music. All the other features will be used rarely but available when needed.

Tesla Oasis. 164 chargers. Not sure this many chargers are necessary but I do appreciate the covered stalls, bathrooms, trash cans and window cleaners. Should be a standard for stand alone charging stations.

Slow charge for the R2 at the Crescent, OR @Rivian charger. At least it has a window cleaner and I got a notification that 2026.36.40 is ready to install! Hopefully fixing the “No Key Detected” issue.

The @RivianRoamer iOS app has been fantastic to track everything on the trip so far. Current stats at the 1k mile point. The tent definitely hits efficiency but it is about what I expected. R2 is handling everything with ease. @hilbe @RivianTrackr

Short distance between stops, dog needs to stretch her legs. A bit more elevation here which lowered efficiency.

First stop… Avg Speed 73 mph, AC set to 68 2 people and a dog, about 800 lbs of total weight with cargo and rooftop tent included (have compact spare as well). Outside temp 85-95. Drive mode: Conserve.

Package delivery! Rivian R2 Crossbars FINALLY arrived. Also, the new Ubiquiti Long Range Travel Router. Quite the package size difference. Getting closer to being ready for the roadtrip!
