NYC HHC

Yesterday a. patient died at one of the HHC hospitals and the staff stuck him uncovered in a closet.....and forgot he was there.

The absence of Leadership. This is the title of my book about HHC hospitals in New York City.

Unbelievable... Employees who are hearing impaired, park 20 feet from the enterance, patients and visitors have to walk 100-200 yards.

It's 9PM. I'm driving home. 13 hour day. No lunch. I've never seen an organization like this.

I can't believe that a CFO at HHC basically said we have lots of money to spend the remainder of the fiscal year. LOTS OF MONEY ??????

I'm on the subway this AM going to work. Why does HHC have 60 vehicles and drivers that ferry employees around town ?
