"We want guys that drink out of the water hose, not guys whose mommy's bringing them a Powerade. If you can get your culture tough -your kids tough, you have an advantage today.”
It takes more than muscle, practice, and talent. At some point, it requires toughness and grit.

Assistant Coaches shouldn't be afraid to talk to their Head Coach about taking another job to help advance their career...in fear that they will either get fired OR their coach will treat them a certain way. Head Coaches should want their assistants to advance in their career.

Don’t like your HS coach, transfer. Don’t like your JUCO coach, transfer. Don’t play enough at a school, transfer. Don’t like your travel team, jump ship. Don’t like your role, quit. What on God's green earth are we teaching our kids. Stop it. Be resilient, plant roots, and fight
