Standing in front of Bowlero Christown in Phoenix, AZ, and honestly, it feels like I'm on the set of a retro sci-fi movie! 馃殌 Originally opened in September 1958 as 300 Bowl, this place is a masterpiece of Googie architecture. That soaring, inverted canopy roof is pure Space Age.

This beautiful former radio station building in Guatemala from 1935, designed by architect Wilhelm Krebs, somehow strongly reminds me of a giant whale! I love its blue Art Deco facade, curved corners, and these glass block details.

I hated women growing up and everyone kept telling me "haha just wait! You'll love them soon enough!" And so I hit puberty & obviously now I had to deal with women. But after dealing with women my whole life I've come full circle & realized my 8 or 9 year old self was correct.

I heard about NORAD because it's in the greatest documentary of all time, Stargate SG1. And that it's just 6 miles away from this weird looking park monument which points directly at Cheyenne Mountain. WEIRD....right?
