My POV on the biggest Music Festival in IBADAN.
It was just a very random day when a friend called me for a meeting.
Apparently, we’ve worked on several projects that were successful while we were students in the University of Ibadan.
I got to the venue of the meeting and he proposed the concept of the event. I locked in immediately and started setting up my PR team as the publicity manager.
We rolled out contents and event day came and it was a total shutdown. We recorded audience a bit above 1k.

So, a governor paid his domestic staff 77k monthly throughout the tenure and is now giving them lands in high brow areas as “departing gifts” now.

MOGBE!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is, without a doubt, one of the deepest and longest Adamu Orisha chants I have ever heard. The fierceness, intensity, raw fury, commanding delivery, and sheer accuracy are second to none!
I have shared a few stories about this extraordinary young woman under the tag “Bata Girl,” but she is far more than a phenomenal Bata dancer. She is a gifted artist, a passionate cultural ambassador, and a remarkable custodian of Yoruba culture, heritage, and traditional practices.
Her name is Iremide Okunade, and she is one of those young Yoruba women reminding us that our cultural heritage is alive, powerful, and in capable hands.
From the Bata drums to the sacred power of our chants, she embodies the beauty, depth, and living spirit of Yorubaland.
Our culture is not merely something to admire; it is a legacy to preserve, practise, and pass on. And young custodians like Iremide are making sure that legacy never fades.
Yoruba culture is alive! Àṣà wa ò ní ṣòfò! Àṣẹ!

NAFDAC Uncovers Suspected Counterfeit Alcoholic Drinks Factory in Aba
NAFDAC has uncovered a suspected counterfeit alcoholic drinks production facility at No. 25 Omenazu Street, Aba, Abia State.
Acting on credible intelligence, officials discovered the facility operating in unhygienic conditions. The suspected operator reportedly fled upon the team’s arrival, abandoning a vehicle in which counterfeit packaging materials bearing the names of Sir Edwards Scotch Whisky and Scottish Hills Whisky, empty bottles and a drum containing approximately 200 litres of liquid were found.
Inside the facility, officials found counterfeit packaging materials, bottle caps, sealing machines, empty bottles, cartons, tanks containing various liquid concoctions and dirty sieves reportedly used in the production process. Plastic buckets and 200-litre drums containing ethanol and tree bark immersed in ethanol were also discovered, raising serious concerns about the safety and quality of the products being produced.
The estimated value of the equipment, materials and facility components is over ₦500 million. The Agency urges members of the public to provide credible information on suspected illegal manufacturing activities to the NAFDAC Call Centre on 0800-1-623322 or 0700-1-623322, or email [email protected].

Inside your heart, is Chief Bola Tinubu @officialABAT a true representation of the “Omoluabi” that you were taught as a child growing up? 😊

I hope every Yoruba person can see beyond this thin-veiled insult, gaslighting and mumu-testing. Because if they can’t, they’d be the ultimate mumu-tool.
Every major ethnic group presented a candidate in 2023, the same has been repeated for 2027. BAT’s highest vote count from any zone came from the North.
APC is winning in his Cross River State; roughly 2 years ago, APC swept all the council seats in his state. Same is happening in the South East. Their governors and their people are now proudly APC. People are standing on the mandate across all 6 GPZs.
Guess the people he spotlighted for guilty-tripping?
Yeah right

Look at this stupid ignorant goat asking if Ogun State people are business people with such disdain. A brainwashed zombie. Zero knowledge of history, zero self awareness, zero respect for others.
Typical empty-chest beating, perfectly mixed with ignorance and victimhood.
In his underdeveloped mind, business is import dependent trading, not investment, not manufacturing, not actual production. Thats what he has been taught and he can’t see beyond the foolery. The way he was also raised, the only way he can validate himself is to be a perpetual victim.
When Governor Dapo Abiodun was seeking investors everywhere, this clown and others were celebrating gutter and street light.
The empty heads interviewing him also shared the same sentiments. They should change the name of the podcast to The Foolish Bunch.
The pretentious sane humans and good governance advocates have gone into hiding. They are blind now. They will remind us about price of petrol after this tweet.

lol, he wasn’t the one that gave me the power bank, so when he came to retrieve it I asked him to wait so I can confirm with the person who gave me the power bank, and when I did, I rushed back to him and gave him the power bank, told him I’m sorry, that I just wanted to be sure it was his.
But he had other plans online. Funny guy.

I met a 24-year-old at an event in Glasgow 🏴 and was surprised to learn he’s already a manager in a major shopping centre.
He told me college placements and volunteering gave him real experience early.
That stayed with me.
Nigeria is blessed with talented individuals. What many young people need is earlier exposure to real work, not only certificates.
Placements, volunteering and work experience can help young people build confidence, skills and a clearer path into employment.

Man Banished From Okwulaga Afaraukwu Ibeku, Abia State, After Being Caught Burying Charm on Farmland, Accused of K!ll@ng People With Charm
A man has been banished from Okwulaga Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia State, after he was reportedly caught attempting to bury a charm on farmland belonging to a community member.
The incident occurred on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Umuizu, Okwulaga Afaraukwu Ibeku, where youths of the community reportedly apprehended the man and took him to the palace of the traditional ruler, according to the report.
At the palace, the traditional ruler condemned the alleged act and warned residents against activities that could threaten lives, peace, unity and peaceful coexistence in the community.
Following the proceedings at the palace, the man was reportedly banished from the community.
To solve this, we just don’t use popular faces at the entrance.
One lesson I have learnt hosting physical events now is, bouncers do not know their job so there should be different checkpoints for tickets, if you escape one set of bouncers, normally you no suppose escape another set, the money you will use bribing all the bouncers, you will be better off paying for the ticket with it.
