#AISS025 | We are thrilled to announce the launch of the report “Safeguarding India’s Digital Health – A Framework for Cybersecure Healthcare Infrastructure”, jointly developed by the Data Security Council of India and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (@HIMSS) at the #healthcare sub-summit. The report introduces a Healthcare Cybersecurity Readiness Framework tailored to India’s healthcare context, where advancements have also increased cyber threat exposure. Rising incidents of ransomware, data breaches, and supply-chain attacks highlight persistent gaps, including fragmented IT infrastructure, uneven cybersecurity awareness, weak data protection practices, and varying levels of compliance. This report examines these challenges through three lenses: People, Providers, and the broader Health System, offering a clear picture of India’s current cybersecurity posture.
