🚨🚨 POLICE WATCHDOG FINDS THE MET POLICE MAY HAVE UNFAIRLY ARRESTED FATHER TED CREATOR GRAHAM LINEHAN FOR LAWFUL GENDER-CRITICAL VIEWS.
Last year, @Glinner was arrested at Heathrow Airport by five armed police officers over three gender-critical posts on X.
With the support of the Free Speech Union, Graham sent a pre-action letter to the Police arguing that his arrest was unlawful and breached his right to freedom of expression under Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights. The Met issued a formal public apology and paid £25,000 in compensation.
Graham also submitted a complaint to the Directorate of Professional Standards asking them to review the police’s conduct in arresting and detaining him. The results of that complaint were unsatisfactory. Although Scotland Yard found that the handling of his case had been unacceptable, shockingly none of the officers involved were disciplined.
After lodging a complaint with the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), the IOPC has now ruled that the review did not go far enough and that its findings were “not reasonable and
proportionate”.
The Met has been ordered to reinvestigate Linehan’s complaints, including whether he was unfairly treated because of his lawful gender-critical beliefs, which are protected under the Equality Act 2010.
Following the findings, Mr Linehan said: “The so-called complainant in this case has made scores of spurious claims, as evidenced by the High Court claims that he has lost.
“The only possible reason the Met acted in the extreme way they did was political bias. That the Met sought to cover this up is yet more evidence of a two-tier approach to the policing of this debate.”
General Secretary of the Free Speech Union, Lord Young of Acton, told The Telegraph: “This finding by the IOPC is very welcome. I hope it means that in future the police will take freedom-of-expression rights into consideration before arresting someone for a tweet.”
The Free Speech Union is proud to continue supporting Graham Linehan in his case.

🚨Whoah 😳 In less than 20 seconds Dominic Cummings creates stunned silence at Lords Committee this morning.
One of the few remaining centres of excellence in the U.K.?
British Special Forces & who is their biggest enemy? Russia? China? Iran?
No - 20 seconds he doesn’t mince his words ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Burnhams pants are on fire !
This is just not true. As soon as I became foreign secretary I asked the security services the same question and they replied that there was no evidence of any successful interference in the 2016 referendum, by Russia or any other power.
Either the security services have changed their view - which would be very odd - or Burnham is lying about what he has been told. After all Starmer was in power for two years and had access to exactly the same information.

If I buy something from Amazon, they take the money straight away, yet when they refund money because they can't deliver, it takes them 5 to 7 business days to credit my account? Surely it's not right that I'm loaning money to Amazon. Shouldn't they pay me interest, at least?

Oh surprise the UN has admitted that climate change actually doesn’t exist, sorry about that Miliband and co so now we can get on and get rid of solar farms and wind farms and get our energy prices down with opening up our own energy fields and oil …. Isn’t that right ? Labour hello? 🙄

I will NEVER fly @British_Airways ever again. Absolute WORST Airline EVER.
They have left me stranded in Seattle with my elderly, injured father who is in a wheelchair and needs medical care. Our @British_Airways flight in from London was 1 hour delayed. Because my dad is in a wheelchair, he needs assistance off the plane and through the airport, this means we were last off. We then had to get our luggage, go through passport control and customs and when we finally made it to the counter to drop our bags, we were told it was too late, we missed our flight. Many other passengers also missed their flight.
But when I called British Airways to get us on the next flight out, they claimed since we had 1.5 hours to connect, they owed us nothing. 1.5 hours in a huge airport with wheelchair assistance needed and an elderly injured man who just got out of the hospital, and they are leaving us stranded telling us to fork over more money for a flight home.
Oh and this is ON TOP of us being stranded in Heathrow for 8 hours on our flight TO London. The wheelchair assist was late, it took over 1 hour for us to get off the plane. Because of this, we missed our connecting flight. The next one was 8 hours later. I asked if they could at least put us in a lounge since my father is older and in a wheelchair. They refused. They gave us no compensation or refunds.
I don't know how any of this is even legal.

Jonathan Reynolds claims defence spending has already increased substantially under Labour. He repeated it in all his interviews on the Sunday morning round. Nobody called him out. Jon Sopel even agreed with him saying ‘I know’. Here are the facts about total defence spending in constant 2025/26 pounds:
2024/25: £62.3 billion, a figure inherited from the Tories.
2025/26: £62.0 billion — so a small real-terms fall in Labour’s first full year.
2026/27: planned and after Defence Investment Plan top up:£67.0 billion.
So a rise of under £5 billion from 24/25 despite growing international tensions/threats. And even that includes several Treasury fiddles. It’s peanuts compared with the threats/challenges.
Labour will double net zero subsidies to £40 billion between now and 2030. Giving away the Chagos Islands will cost many billions more. Both seem more of a priority than defence.

The threat level against the country continues to grow yet the Burnham government has told the British Army to cease major exercises with Challenger 2 tanks and Apache gunships to save money.
Our Bus-Conductor-in-Chief can find money for all sorts of gimmicks that allow him to play to the gallery. But not for essential defence spending. Unforgivable.
We have to start thinking that the days of social media are numbered. The algorithms have completely screwed it. No one wants to wade through tonnes of stuff that other people are suggesting for you, which overrules what you're actually looking for and what you want to read.
Roy Baumeister on Evil:
“Evil usually enters the world unrecognized by the people who open the door and let it in. Most people who perpetrate evil do not see what they are doing as evil. Evil exists primarily in the eye of the beholder, especially in the eye of the victim.”
How low can the UK government sink letting scum into the UK and housing them with tax money and asking the public to pay for homeless people direct. How long will people put up with this? gbnews.com/news/migrant-cris…
