Elon showing Jay Leno the first production unit Tesla Roadster in 2008.
Leno amazed by battery pack with 6,831 lithium-ion cells and gives this take on his first test drive:
“The good thing with electricity is that you get full torque from 0 RPM. In a gas car, you have to bring the revs to 3 or 4 grand and pop the clutch. Most electric cars feel bottom heavy, but not this. It’s eerily quiet. It’s amazing. All you hear is the wind noise. I like that it’s a sports car, not some dorky little 4-door econo-box.”

American an European friends,
I’m so ashamed, but you need to see what France has become.
Don’t make the same mistakes we did.

We cannot coexist. It will be them, or us.

22 seconds.
That is how long it took for a 23 year old staff sergeant from Alabama to save the lives of his entire B-29 crew on a mission to Japan in 1945.
He had to carry a burning phosphorus bomb 25 feet through the aircraft.
He held it against his body while it burned through to the bone.

Built around 1680, making it the oldest surviving structure in downtown Boston, this is the historic Paul Revere House.
It was the colonial home of American patriot Paul Revere during the time of the American Revolution and his famous Midnight Ride.

Konstantin Petrov worked the overnight shift as an electrician at Windows on the World in the North Tower.
Because the complex was mostly empty at night, he wandered with a camera and photographed stairwells, kitchens, offices, rooftops, and quiet corners of the Trade Center that few people ever documented.
His shift ended shortly before 9/11 began, and he made it out.
Petrov died in a motorcycle crash the following year. His photos became an incredibly rare record of the World Trade Center just before it disappeared.
