if you want to take pictures in a cute town, go into google maps and search for Foodland.
- read good books
- listen to good music
- make art
- drink your coffee slowly
- call your friends instead of texting
- walk instead of driving
- wear an analogue watch and rarely check it
- write something down on paper
- ask your partner how their day was and listen

the mystery isn’t why ska had such a chokehold on people in the 90s, it’s how someone was able to schedule band practices with like 2 guitar players, a bass player, a drummer, a singer, a whole brass section, and a guy who just skanked around behind the band.
