Today, we conducted a health camp in Worli’s Veer Jijamata Nagar and thousands of citizens of all ages came forward for their check up. I’m thankful to the doctors and interns who spent their day at the camp, and I can’t thank @DrMuffi enough for his support.

Every high handed step now proves that we are moving rapidly towards a planned end to democracy and constitutional ideals in our country. This is not about only @RahulGandhi or one disqualification. This is about all of us as citizens, and whether we can say democracy is alive

@mrhasanmushrif

"Yes! We can end TB" आज 'जागतिक क्षयरोग दिन'. World TB Day...

The authorities must hear out the environmentalists and urban planners raising these issues fairly and take a firm call on this issue. Cutting trees does not mean development. But it seems to be the only definition for this illegal Govt. Pune’s riverfront can be developed by protecting its river and ecology better

It seems that there is a huge difference between the permissions sought and the on ground work. Cutting of trees, concretisation of the river sides and much of the river bed, barrages to hold stagnant water and submerging temples and cross over bridges, will disturb the culture and ecology of Pune

I have raised the issue of Pune’s dangerous River Front Development in the Assembly today. 6000 trees proposed to be cut for riverfront development! While in principal, we all want river rejuvenation and riverfront development, this current plan as studied by environmentalists and urban planners, will destroy Pune’s geography, cultural history and ecology in the long run.

Wished my colleague @iAditiTatkare a very happy birthday earlier today. But this tweet is to acknowledge her steadfast support to our Dept of Tourism and Protocol, as MoS, during our MVA years and as someone who worked in sync to expand the role of both depts in Maharashtra.
