Johnson attended the ribbon cutting for the redevelopment of the former Charles Warrington Earle School at 1711 W. 61st Street — part of his administration’s larger claim of $2.6 BILLION invested on the South Side. The main construction permit, #101034568, was issued in June 2024 with a declared construction value of $25 MILLION. According to information and photos provided to CFR, pipes burst at the newly opened Earle Residence on September 10, 2026 — less than a month after the ribbon cutting. Then there’s the migrant crisis. According to Chicago’s Inspector General, the city’s new-arrivals mission cost approximately $639.65 MILLION between August 2022 and December 2024. And PUBLIC SAFETY?
