Plus the fact na ABS-CBN was able to produce this alone.
+ Ms. Fyang is Ms. Fyang!!!
Sa ibang solids and shippers diyan, if makikisawsaw kayo, make sure na hindi si Fyang ang babalikan in the end, ha?
Some of you are being way too aggressive and shady, tapos icon niyo pa si nakshie.
Kaya don’t expect me to like your fave when their fans act like dragging my girl is part of their daily routine. Ang yayabang niyo naman, hindi ba kayang i-hype ang idol niyo without using my girl for engagement? Weirdo.
Last day of work this Friday, and a part of me still wishes I could stay a little longer. I love my job and my workmates, but I know I need to grow and explore new opportunities.
Nakakatakot man, I hope someday I’ll understand why I had to take this leap.
For Kim Chiu – Arguably the most successful PBB housemate of all time. Her career and longevity in showbiz speak for themselves.
For Melai – Regarded as one of the most memorable PBB Big Winners ever. Melason had the entire nation in a chokehold! For the longest time, Kamuning kept searching for another love team with that same level of relatability, authenticity, and mass appeal.
For Maymay – She literally competed against celebrities in what remains the longest PBB season ever. And for quite some time, the archetype of the "funny IT girl" was almost synonymous with Maymay. Every time someone with that personality entered the house, the narrative was always, "Could she be the next Maymay?"
What's interesting about these three is that they practically became the blueprint for winning PBB.
They were generally PR-friendly housemates: mabait sa bahay, strong social game, naturally charismatic, and rarely nominated. They had the kind of personalities that appealed to both their fellow housemates and the voting public.
To a certain extent, PBB developed this unwritten formula that, to become a Big Winner, you needed to exhibit the qualities of Kim, Melai, or Maymay.
And then came Fyang - The Game Changer
Loud. Unfiltered. Polarising. Controversial.
She challenged the conventional idea of what a PBB Big Winner should look like. She wasn't necessarily the polished, universally agreeable, PR-friendly housemate that audiences had grown accustomed to seeing win.
Yet, in many ways, she embodied one of the most fundamental promises of the PBB brand: "Totoong Buhay." And that's what makes Fyang such an interesting turning point in PBB history.
If biased: Melai Cantiveros, Daniel Matsunaga, and KD Estrada
If under objective parameters
🥇Kim Chiu
🥈Melai Cantiveros
🥉Maymay Entrata and Fyang Smith (TIED)
Objective parameters
- How difficult is their journey (20%)
- How iconic were they in their seasons (30%)
- Their impact relative impact since they got out (50%)
DIFFICULTY: Ano ang mga twists? How competitive was it to stand out? Like, voting wise, task wise, or sino mga co-housemates.
ICONIC: Not necessarily, how great. But how tuned in the Filipino public was for this housemate.
RELATIVE IMPACT: How much influence do they have since they got out. Were lives changed? Did their presence changed the course of the game?
