Lindsay Clancy had the responsibility to tell her health care providers that she was having thoughts of harming her children. She may be NGRI on 1st degree murder, but I would argue she has moral and legal responsibility for placing her children in danger in the months leading up to her psychotic break.

Descriptive statements can be used to create permission structures. People w/ large audiences can use them to disseminate talking points or use them as a threat. In politics, describing something while intentionally leaving out material context is propaganda. hope this helps.

If the UK laws allowed for Jason to be pressed on this before it reached a critical mass maybe he’d have been able to deal with this better. So sad.

What you should take away from the Candace & Andrew debate is not that Candace and those who follow her are dumb or delusional- rather it’s clear to see that none of them believe what they are saying. It’s just the 2026 version of Days of Our Lives. An internet soap opera that uses a real life situation as its premise and a story is constructed based on what captivates the audience, it allows her to weave in related characters and real life happenings to constantly have something to fight against and gives them endless content to farm.

Ana, you can’t see the real from the false and you don’t appear to care about the veracity of posts you are reposting to prop up your arguments. I watched you talk at length about how you used to see Conservatives as evil and how embarrassing it is looking back because you lacked the ability to develop theory of mind for people and believed in the most cartoonish versions of an entire group of people. And now you’re doing it again now, with anyone who comes to a different conclusion than you on the issue of Israel, you’re flattening all nuance, refusing any and all good faith or charitablity and cultivating an audience based on hatred rather than anything positive. How sad.

Do you get it yet? The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.

I’m so debate-brained that my therapist said “support system” and I immediately asked her to define the term.

Platner is a loser failson, not some undiscovered working class tribune. He’s Reddit brained resentment in candidate form: no record, no accomplishments, no proof he can build, lead, or survive contact with power without becoming worse. If you’re going to back someone this glaringly flawed, he’d better be able to get shit done. Platner can’t. He’s politically impotent.

Interesting how “a nation has the right to protect itself from hostile outsiders” is treated as obvious when applied to America, but suddenly controversial when another country applies the same standard. 🤔

My kids referred to these as drones this afternoon. Growing up we called them helicopters. 🙃🤖🚁
