Trump's net worth has skyrocketed by billions of dollars since he retook the White House mostly driven by his crypto scams. Trump is the most corrupt president in the history of America and it's not close. JD Vance's comments here are utterly preposterous and embarrassing.
JD Vance: "I've not seen a single shred of evidence that Donald Trump participates or sanctions in that corruption ... I've not once seen evidence that Donald Trump has enriched himself"

If @dscc were smart they’d put this on TV in every state. No need to put any corny Democratic messaging on it or anything. Just run the video raw
President Trump, my friend Donald - thank you for your extraordinary endorsement. Israel has never had a greater friend in the White House. Together we will never let Iran's regime get nuclear weapons. Thank you for your clarity, courage and unwavering support. @realDonaldTrump

It’s easy to criticize me for a mistake I made 7 months ago. But what’s your plan to fix the damage I’ve caused?
JD Vance: "I see what Abdul El-Sayed says about the war in Iran. I see him criticizing decisions the president has made, the military has made. But fundamentally we are where we are. In my view, I'd like to know what's Abdul El-Sayed's solution for the problem we have right now? It's easy to criticize something that happened 7 months ago."

Tommy, who worked as Josh Hawley’s ops director, is the son of Bobby Jindal’s longtime COS, Tim Teepell, who is listed as the principal for Breakthrough LLC. This month, Jindal’s dark money group paid $250,000 to Breakthrough LLC, for influencer marketing opposing Abdul El-Sayed.
This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

Video of masked Israeli settlers striking European diplomats and elected officials near Taybeh, a Christian village in Palestine. The 78-year-old French mayor Bernard Baudoux was thrown to the ground and beaten with iron bars. Make no mistake: If the Israeli government wanted to put an end to this, they could within minutes. They don't. Just like Biden pretended that he wanted a ceasefire, but in reality worked tirelessly to enable Israel's genocide. They are playing the same trick on us again.

Do. not. let the exact outcome everyone wanted convince you that the boot of an MLB owner doesn't taste really good on your tongue
Do. not. let a Brewers-Rays/Guardians World Series matchup convince you that MLB doesn’t need a cap and floor system.

There has never, in our lifetimes, been a genocidal ethnic cleansing campaign that the genocidal ethnic cleaners have so openly bragged about doing.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz on Lebanon: Look at what is happening in Lebanon. Today, more than 60 villages in southern Lebanon, beginning with those adjacent to the border, and beyond that, throughout the entire security zone up to the Yellow Line, an area of 700 square kilometers, are destroyed. All the villages have been wiped out. Twenty-three thousand houses, all destroyed, demolished. I am not even talking about what is underground, about the tunnels. Everything has been destroyed. There are no residents there. Two hundred thousand residents are outside. This is the Gaza model. And this is the model we are implementing.

He says the name just fine when he’s begging the Qataris for a personal jet or the Saudis for funding for his son-in-law’s private equity firm. Wonder what’s changed?
Trump on El-Sayed: "His name is actually Abduladadalalalala. It's Adulbabababababa Mohammed Al-Sayed. So his middle name is Mohammed. So I was right. He's a jihadist."

A salary cap and floor will not fix baseball. In 2026, we should know by now that when uber-rich people want to cap their spending, it isn't because they care about "competitive balance." It's because they want to get richer. A salary floor won't change how Bob Nutting operates. Force him to spend more on players, and he'll cut spending elsewhere. These owners don't care about wins. They care about making more money every year so they can borrow against their increasingly valuable teams, dodge taxes, and cry poor because they're "in debt." What's stopping Nutting and other cheap owners from signing a few mediocre players to inflated one-year deals, hitting the floor, and rinsing and repeating every season? No cheap owner is suddenly going to commit to a long-term deal with a superstar because you made him spend a little more. The problem isn't competitive balance. It never has been. The problem, from the owners' perspective, is figuring out how to separate winning from revenue. Team valuations already increase year after year. Capping player salaries would only accelerate that trend. Owners can sell it as "competitive balance" because a cap creates more randomness, but randomness doesn't reward teams that invest in player development or spend aggressively to win. And that's assuming the cheaper owners don't just treat the floor as their new salary cap. What's stopping the six to eight teams already near the floor from deciding they only need to spend the minimum and cutting another $10-15 million? Given how the uber-rich operate in 2026, you really think at least a few wouldn't try? So what's the actual fix? Tie revenue sharing to winning. Teams with the highest three-year rolling winning percentages receive the most revenue-sharing money. Teams with the lowest receive less. Teams with an extraordinarily low winning percentage over five seasons get hit with a $50 million fine. You have to hit these guys where they actually care: their wallets. You can't rely on draft penalties or anything else that costs them picks or players. To an owner who doesn't care about winning, losing a draft picks can just mean less future superstars they have to pay in arbitration. Owners think in dollars. Fans and players think in wins. You have to tie the two together before even considering a salary cap or floor. Until then, you're wasting your time and making the richest people in the world even richer. Baseball shouldn't be a casino where teams occasionally hit the jackpot through random chance while the house always wins. Build a system that rewards organizations for actually trying to win, not one that makes winning optional while their franchise values keep climbing.

Pretty funny how everybody is like "oh a salary cap will stop 2 or 3 big market teams from ammassing all of the best players" while the league with the strictest salary cap in the country is in a crisis because all of the best players are trying to force their way to 2 or 3 teams
A salary cap lets small market teams keep their star players like every other major sport instead of having to find ways of replacing them every 5-6 years. That’s the biggest thing that should be brought up.

This is why right wing "populism" has been so successful: it's able to posture as a revolutionary anti-establishment movement while still retaining the backing of western oligarchs and empire managers. It gets the votes that come with opposing the status quo without actually opposing the status quo. It gets the popularity of revolutionary politics with none of the cost. Capitalism leads to dissatisfaction, so some charismatic wingnut stands up and goes "You know, the problem is that we haven't capitalismed hard enough! Those fat cats at the top don't want you do know this, but what we actually need is MORE capitalism! MORE wealth for the wealthy! MORE authoritarianism! MORE abuse of the marginalized! And we should probably also send way more money to Israel for some reason!" It's a complete scam from top to bottom, but it works. It exacerbates all the problems we'd already been seeing because doing more of the same stuff that created the problems isn't going to solve the problems, but the human mind is very hackable, and people are easily duped. These Trumpian fraudsters are able to ride popular sentiments of discontent into elected office with the backing of all the plutocratic parasites who've been leeching off the voters this entire time. We've been seeing it in the United States, we've been seeing it in Brazil, we've been seeing it in Argentina, Italy, India, and in surging iterations of the same scam in various political factions all around the world. The question is, what comes next? What comes after people see through the scam and realize their beloved Trumps and Bolsonaros were working for the same establishment they despised and bolstering the status quo they'd been suffering under this whole time? Whatever the backlash is, we can be sure the empire will try to find some way to manipulate it and steer yet another generation back into support for the capitalist world order.
O mundo inteiro deveria saber que Mark Zuckerberg está deliberamente interferindo na eleição brasileira em favor da extrema direita Bolsonarista

Honestly, this graph is a pretty good representation of what Rubenstein was saying. Baseball’s revenues have grown from ~$10.7B in 2019 to ~$12.5B in 2025. Yet the bottom payroll has not moved. Just the top. The bottom payroll teams are just choosing to profit like crazy
Why is the salary cap discussion happening now? Why not in the mid 2010s? The league's highest spenders have drastically increased their payrolls since 2022. The gap is growing, and teams like the Dodgers/Mets are overpaying for talent.

BREAKING: Masked Israeli "settlers" attacked a convoy of European diplomats from France, Belgium and Poland during an olive harvest visit to the Christian Palestinian village of Taybeh, near Ramallah. Seven settlers on ATVs surrounded the vehicles, demanded IDs, threw stones and smashed the window of a Belgian consulate car.
