New feature in testing:
Drag images freely between the canvas, cards, text, sticky notes, and mind maps.
No copy-paste. No friction.
Another tremendous upgrade coming in the next version:
Weblinks on the whiteboard now get cleaner thumbnails and a better layout,
with support for popular sites like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Apple Music, Spotify, and more. 🔗
Besides the web app,
the Noteey client is getting a lot of genuinely useful features, quality of life improvements, and bug fixes in October.
Here's one example: images in mind maps can now be resized.
A better tag database is on the way. Here's what we're shipping:
1️⃣ Thumbnail mode, adjustable column widths, and property visibility controls
2️⃣ Auto-tags: any new content that matches your rules gets tagged automatically
In the Noteey system, tag database are tier-1 format like whiteboard.
Whiteboard are better for more free-form, visual organization,
while tags are better suited for organizing more serious, larger-scale data.
Tags will also support publish to the web and collaboration.
I organize my favorite guitar tabs in one project, with a canvas per singer.
Everything is searchable, and I can annotate the guitar tabs on the canvas.
I can also save each project as a local copy on my hard drive.
