One question about an image that is 850x850 cost one hundredth of a cent - $0.000096936
about 10,000 images for a dollar.
referencing the image more than once duplicates the token usage - so asking two questions in a single request is equivalent to uploading two images

Zimbabwe is negotiating with NPCI International Payments to modernise its payments infrastructure.
The proposed system would connect banks, mobile-money operators and fintech companies through shared technology.
Central bank governor John Mushayavanhu says talks could conclude by 31 October.
The potential agreement follows India’s earlier partnership to develop an instant-payment system in Namibia.
I will never be a politician. 😂

Well done, Cdes.
Next time, also sing Nyika Yedu yeZimbabwe!
The outrage over Delroy Shewe and Saintfloew singing Maruza Imi on a British train says more about us than it does about them. We have an inferiority complex still standing at attention for its former master.
Two young Zimbabwean artists singing it lightly and joyfully on a train, in the very country that once colonised them, is not disrespect. It is pure artistic genius. The symbolism is brilliant.
Maruza Imi is not just a song. It comes straight out of the liberation struggle, sung by guerrillas and villagers to mock a collapsing settler regime and celebrate the victory that ZANU-PF and the liberation forces delivered in 1980. It was never meant to be solemn. It was mockery turned into music - a people laughing in the face of an empire that had told them they would never win.
There is a quiet irony worth reflecting on, too. That train runs on tracks in the same "empire" that once ran trains through colonial Rhodesia and benefited from our suffering under colonial rule.
Meanwhile, you attack and insult your own for their pro-Zimbabwe content while Western creators are celebrated as they film our streets, mimic our accents, dance to our music and turn our everyday lives into content. Nobody bats an eye. Two Zimbabweans sing their own liberation history, and suddenly some of us panic.
If you find the incident offensive, then you are publicly exposing your own insecurity.
😂 ko kungonyarara chibaba
Watch INVADERS from the hellhole known as Zimbabwe on the London subway signing in their language to oblivious British people “You colonialists have lost.”
They are celebrating the conquest of the west via replacement migration.
We are witnessing globalist, sponsored colonialism in reverse.
Colonialism, undoubtedly built up much of the Third World and triggered a population explosion.
Now those populations have been weaponized..

Ok here's another one. @AmpCode orbs can spawn other orbs (h/t @thorstenball for the cool demos) so I can create a main orb to design the feature and then it coordinates and oversees the implementation.
In this case the main orb is in Ultra mode and all the worker orbs are medium mode. Then main orb reviews what the workers did, makes edits (or requests them) and commits the changes.
You can steer the work as it happens but you don't have to create all the new "chats" by hand.
It's all handled by the main agent. In some cases it spawned parallel orbs for separate concerns, then reconciled everything and kept pushing.
And for this worked, it paused every time it had a shippable slice, showed proof of work (screenshots of the feature being used in the dashboard app), asked for clarification or confirmation on some of its decisions.
And this (kinda complex) feature is now production ready in a few hours, half of it dictated from my phone in between house chores, taking out the dog or putting my daughter to bed last night.
Orbs are awesome
I can't explain how magical @AmpCode orbs are.
There's this weird effect of knowing that each orb is a unit of work that can be shipped independently that gets rid all the pressure of having agents do work in parallel.
When maintaining separate checkouts in your computer, you're always like "wait where am I now?" and you have N agent sessions working against a single history tree
If using worktrees, it's basically the same thing but worse because then you go into all the dep installs weirdness
but with orbs, it's all seamless. A single agent session maps to a single WIP context so you never get too in the weeds. Orbs just work. Portals allow you run your dev server seamlessly in remote to test things out manually if you want.
And the ship button??? It is just too satisfying to use + makes it super easy to keep commits small and manageable.
The Amp team did it again. Best of the best experience all around. Great work @sqs @thorstenball and team. It is, in fact, orbin' time

🇫🇷🇿🇼 French soldiers are facing SEVERE disciplinary action after posing with the Rhodesian flag...
Involved were two separate groups: 6 from the 2nd Foreign Infantry Regiment at their Nîmes base, and 4 training in the UAE in front of a Leclerc tank.
All in uniform.
The Defense Ministry confirmed their identities, stressed the incidents were 'unconnected,' and declared zero tolerance for "racist" displays.
Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) existed as an unrecognized white-minority-led state from 1965-1979.
Rhodesia often functions as a romanticized "lost cause," a symbol of a defiant, fallen white-ruled state.
