Gang-rape on the rise in Punjab. Disturbing facts revealed by @Riazhaq Punjab has accounted for 89.7 percent of all the registered rape cases across the country. Gang-rape alone makes up 62.8 percent of the total national rape-related data, but Punjab has a share of 99.2 percent of all registered gang-rape cases. In Punjab, gang-rape cases account for 69.4 percent of the total caseload and its 29,555 registered cases are 6.6 times its 4,494 cases of single-perpetrator rape. Every other province shows the inverse pattern. Sindh records 4.3 single-perpetrator rapes for every gang-rape, KP 51 and Balochistan 47. More details 👇

It is undeniable that #SheikhRashid has been a long-serving mouthpiece for the 'boys' as well as a highly active hate-monger who has sowed seeds of discord in Pakistan for as long as I can remember. He was the public face of the Difa-i-Pakistan Council, whose members included banned #ASWJ chief Ahmed Ludhianvi, Taliban "father" Maulana Samiul Haq, the proscribed Hafiz Saeed, and the Taliban's "guardian angel", Hamid Gul. He was involved in every political shenanigan that took place while he was active (perhaps he still is). However, if this video is authentic, one cannot help but feel sorry for him. A mother's love is undeniable, even for someone like him. However, there's also no denying that he was used and disposed of like a tissue paper...

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, commenting on reports about the closure of the land border with Pakistan, said:
“Due to certain technical issues and the need to take precautionary measures, border crossings and exchanges have been temporarily suspended.
