Government defends the indefensible: Failing to support migrant women fleeing domestic abuse.
Countless victims will not be helped in what was promised to be a landmark #DABill but we must still fight on.
Support the vital work of Southall Black Sisters who are fighting this 👇🏻
The Govt rejected our revised amendment to the #DABill which proposed lifting NRPF for migrant women fleeing abuse for the duration of the pilot project. But we will not give up. We won the debates in both Houses even though we lost the vote. The Govt defends the indefensible.
