I have been playing with this and it looks great! Nice work @hemlok_ , I have already shared this with my team :P
I’m so proud of the work we’ve done on this release 😍 the whole team has moved mountains to make this happen 👏

And very cool documentation! Please tell us if you need something else from the library. If you are simply using it, we’d also love to hear :)
New release of [email protected], now with 100% coverage, new combinators (always, never, firstOf, sequence) and a BREAKING CHANGE of the "has" Prism that has been renamed to "where" for JS familiarity! 🥰 github.com/kutyel/optics.js/…

In this post my goal is to show that optics are conceptually simple, once you look behind the zoo of names. - how many elements do you obtain? - can you set them? - can you build new values or only modify?
Optics are an important part of Functional Programming, but what are they and what kinds of optics are out there? @trupill explores ten different combinations of operations provided by #optics and more here: 47deg.com/blog/optics/ #FunctionalProgramming

So why did we start a JS optics library, you might be asking. One of the preconceptions @FlavioCorpa and I wanted to fight is that lenses and prisms are the only thing that exist, there are way more optics than that!

Great talk from @NicolasRinaudo about ADTs, from the basics to the most useful state modelling in #signifyfpconf I found cool that @raulraja and @berenguel were featured as Twitter messages! I am gonna miss @Lambda_World this year.

Many people I talk to are interested in applying AI to music. This is a really awesome area, but I think like most fields cybernetic approaches will be productive first, augmenting human abilities rather than supplanting them.

It's been nearly 4 years since I found this fantastic post, and it is still very true. You can go a long way in FP without the *need* for jargon. Only when writing repetitive, monomorphic code becomes painful, you'll find bliss in abstraction. Not before. mkremins.github.io/blog/door…

“How about” is a useful phrase in code reviews. First explain what the problem is, then offer one possible solution. “How about implementing it like this? ...” That leaves the submitter free to choose a different solution if they wish.
