I think biggest problem of Stella is that he would NEVER acknowledge mistake of pit wall, pit crew or strategy team which has costed McLaren INSANE points but the moment driver makes a mistake suddenly Andrea starts moral policing.
I think HIS EGO is the problem here tbh.

Here’s the issue Stella faces, if the teams interest was the priority: position swap mid sprint race was needed because Lando had the pace to try and catch Leclerc, but that wasn’t done because it would have hurt Oscar’s ego.
McLarens actions don’t align with this shit Stella.

Jokes aside, this makes me really nervous. They never take this attitude with Oscar, but we've seen them go hard at Lando for things like this before.
They've proven they foster a toxic environment and I don't doubt for a second that this will have some sort of internal repercussions to come and some grudges that stay from it.

I don’t want to believe McLaren losing competitiveness is because of team trying to help out piastri. Andrea Stella is a good tp but if he nerfs competitive edge of car just to ensure “fair” treatment to both drivers then something is seriously wrong with this team.
McLaren have downgraded their car with baku upgrades. From Spa upto Madring the car was competitive every session. They’ve nerfed competitiveness of this car and for a team that won 2 constructors back to back, you don’t expect this downfall or incompetence they are showing.
