With the recent Oasis hype I'm reminded of the day in 1996 when we went to see Ocean Colour Scene at the Electric Ballroom, when on walk the Gallagher brothers to do a short acoustic set - at the height of their Britpop fame this was quite a magical moment youtu.be/L3mjzYH9Y7c?feature…
Incredible night watching @billybragg at @marinetheatre with @cjhillman87 - perfect combination of energy, humour and thought provoking words - I nearly mustered the nerve to ask for a plectrum to take home to my son - alas I bottled it 🤦♂️
Love this version of the classic Simon and Garfunkel song from my son youtu.be/T1XijUFxTAg?si=eZrh…
What a night at @ashtongatestad with @ArcticMonkeys - and what a song to start with - never been to a concert where there is so much singing along from the crowd 🎸😎

Today would have been my mum's 80th birthday ❤️.
It's only today that I've realised she was born on the same day as the Dam Busters raid - can't believe I didn't know that!
Very proud of daughter who has been the lead marketeer on what I'm certain will be an incredible mini podcast series due to start at the end of this month - give it a follow if you can 😉 @twwsipod
Would love it if @billybragg took a listen to my son's first EP - lots of decent messages in those lyrics - passing on to the next generation 😎 open.spotify.com/album/1ZPmU…
