#NaNoWriMo2019 Well another #NaNoWriMo done and this time I can actually say I won, fully, staying on track with more or less my plan. Of course, I'm no where near done a useful maniscript (I have 50 000 words of almost the same 2 scenes but shh). But a win is a win!

Take Me to Church always had a bit of a Henry&Oliver vibe as a whole. Individually, Tequila by Dan + Shay always makes me think of Henry … I love Ollie but I don’t really have a song for him, and him alone.

Hm. I haven’t really started writing, I’m still poking at characters and playing with pieces so the weather doesn’t feature much as of yet. It’s England though so… English weather.

Um. I think in general, most people lower down on the staff envy people like the butler or what not, but there isn’t really a lot of envy going around among the staff. Charles envies Henry something fierce but that’s siblings not coworkers.

Yes, it’s there in the world, and the specific setting is fairly close to the coast – though I’m currently uncertain how much it will feature in the story. It’s not much as I have it planned right now, but that could easily change.

#HeroesandVillains AUG9 1of2 I loosely based Henry’s appearance off of Richard Maden, though it’s not a definitive “dream cast” situation. As for difficulties faced, there's a big contradiction/conflict between the Henry that everyone sees and what's actually going on in his head

The monarch? He or she is usually probably the only person interested. There’s a handful of “monarchists” so to speak who enjoy being reassured by it, but most people read it for a laugh if they read it at all.

I mean by our standards, not even close but the bulk of the story is in and around 1820, which is roughly in the industrial revolution range, so to them that really would have been a tech advancement. Even if its super dated now.

Designer isn’t exactly a thing yet, but I promise you if it was/when it is, Henry is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallll about the designer. Oliver just wants something practical that fits and works for whatever he needs to do.

Oliver definitely doesn’t know anything other than English from where he started… but he may learn some more along his way. That’s something I’ll still have to determine.

Yes but no. The reporters are agents of the monarch and can therefore go wherever the monarch wants, which is basically unlimited access. That being said, as the monarch dictates what they can and can’t/do and don’t see – so they do cut off certain areas.

Basically, since the media is the monarchy putting words into their mouths. There’s not so much ways around it in official forms, but unofficially, the people continue to talk, share word of mouth and spread their own ideals
