Brazil has some updates regarding PlayStation and Sony ending physical game media🚀 ✅Following a consumer complaint, the consumer protection agency PROCON-SP has officially affirmed the rights of PlayStation gamers regarding physical and digital game ownership. ✅Consumers have the right to freely use, sell, lend, and share both digital and physical games with others. ✅Companies are prohibited from imposing new rules or usage restrictions after a game has been purchased or licensed. ✅Sony's current fine print, which allows the company to remove a player's digital collection without warning, is considered abusive and legally invalid. ✅PROCON-SP is not blocking Sony's announced platform migration, but explicitly mandates that the process must fully comply with the Consumer Defense Code and respect all acquired consumer rights. ✅Thus can be significant victory for the player community's organic movement and is currently awaiting a further response from Senacon.
