As far as I understand, Java apps do not (can not?) support HiDPI under Java 8. Java 9 brings full support for them.

On Linux we don't bundle Java, so it's up to you to choose the Java version. It seems support for multiple concurrent JVMs is limited: superuser.com/questions/1355…

NodeBox runs on Java 8, which apparently doesn't support HiDPI. I could make a test version on Java 9 that *does* support it... On what platform do you run?
