Heartbroken to hear the news about Michael Sweetney. Today at practice, I spoke to our team about Michael’s incredible empathetic spirit that he brought to the world every day. I was blessed to spend many summers co-working a sports camp with him (cont'd)...

Thank you for the constant support and coverage of @ILBaseball. It meant so much to me personally. So proud to have had the chance to represent @urichmond @SpiderAthletics and @SpiderBaseball here in Tokyo. Such special memories and moments with @jjdemarte8 and the entire team!

Congrats to our 24 guys who finished Fall 2017 with a 3.0+ GPA. A special recognition for one of our seniors, Jake Wood, for having the highest Fall GPA in his graduating class! #rollspides

Thank you @HSDeMaria for sharing your story with @SpiderBaseball last night. You are amazing and inspiring!! m.youtube.com/watch?v=of898t…

Also noteworthy.... great teams are made up of high quality individuals like @cj_wentz . For me, watching Wentz celebrating Foles’ success was as enjoyable as seeing my hometown team win it all!! Go birds 🦅!!!

In memory of Welles Crowther, a hero who sacrificed his life to save others on 9/11. Read Tom Rinaldi's The Red Bandanna for his story

Great work to our guys who went above and beyond in the classroom in 2017. Love seeing this from 68% of @SpiderBaseball roster #rollspides

Congrats 2017 @SpiderBaseball graduates: Zach Grossfeld, Zach Moore, Robbie Baker, Kurtis Brown, and Jon de Marte

Congrats to DJ Lee on being named Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar- the only UR athlete recognized! #diversearthurashe

Proud of @SpiderBaseball - $7K+ raised so far for @Go4theGoal + kids w/ cancer in RVA. Great hospital visit this AM

Love this one: Efficient/safe drill for handling hard hit GBs. Tough to do w/ baseballs bc of injury risk #FridayFielders @Scanzanosports

Great way to innovate tag work/feel around bag while indoors. Emphasis on soft hands w/ tennis balls. Thx @Scanzanosports #fridayfielders

My guy @HankDavis_ taking it to the hole. Love the confidence off the bench and then hitting two FTs. Med school next, true student athlete
