[4/6] In the 2nd week, I visited Prof @RMLab3 at @IiserTirupati, where we are establishing a new collaboration through the Melbourne India Postgraduate Academy (MIPA). It was a very productive visit that gave us the opportunity to discuss our project in depth & plan next steps.

[2/6] Prof. Atreya was one of India's leading NMR spectroscopists whose research spanned protein NMR, method development & metabolomics. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Prof. Atreya personally, I had long admired his work.

[1/6] In July, I spent 2 weeks in India visiting @iiserbhopal & @IiserTirupati. The 1st week was at the @NmrsIndia conference, where I was honoured to receive the Prof. HS Atreya Award in #NMR. The Award was established in memory of the late Prof. Hanudatta S. Atreya (1974–2020).

Day 1 opened with user meetings hosted by the Super Sponsor Bruker, and the Diamond Sponsor JEOL, followed by the inaugural ceremony chaired by Prof. S. V. Bhatt (IISc, Bengaluru) and plenary lectures by Prof. Niels Christian Nielsen (Aarhus University, Denmark) and Prof. Siddhartha P Sarma (IISc, Bengaluru). The evening featured parallel sessions on Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics and Magnetic Resonance in Clinical Studies, with invited talks from experts across leading Indian institutions, followed by a panel discussion on careers in Magnetic Resonance beyond academia.
