I lived in Japan 1997-1999. I learned quickly that if you have a tiny sniffle, YOU WEAR A MASK when you’re out in public. On the train, in a store, whatever. YOU WEAR A MASK to protect others FROM YOU.
So I bought a pack of 5 at my local grocery store. And used them.
