ALT 🚀 Ploutos_H2020 is organising the 2nd series of Open Days, with the first taking place at Mandalo Pellas for Sustainable Innovation Pilot 1 This means showcasing the #smartfarming technologies used in the pilot and raising #awareness around the need to apply digital tools, in alignment with the new CAP.
ALT Before we dive into the Ploutos Best Practices for each one of the project’s 11 Innovation Pilots (SIPs), let’s take a look into one of the project’s core elements: the Ploutos Innovation Academy. The Academy is a virtual space where mutual knowledge exchanges around innovations take place. Experts from different disciplines and actors within the agrifood supply chain participate in these exchanges. Read the blog post on our website to find out more about how this structure is used with the project and pave the way for the sustainable transformation of the agri-food supply chain. . . . #technology #agriculture #agrifood #food #foodsecurity #foodsustainability #sustainability #innovation #academy #practicalknowledge #PIA #blogpost #spotlight
ALT 📖What is PIA SIP Sprint? A physical meeting hosted by TNO, on January 31st-February 1st, in the Netherlands. 📌Why? The aim of the workshop was to engage project partners in some intensive peer learning. 🎯Goal? Different for each of the 11 Pilots For Pilot 7 (SIP7) the desired end result is to reach out and convince more farmers/wineries to adopt SF solutions in order to have: ✅Higher sustainability performance for farms & the region in general ✅Mitigation of environmental impacts ✅Lower environmental footprint ✅Better working conditions ✅Added value to the wines To achieve these results, the next #actions for SIP 7 are: ➡️Print QR code/s and label/s, ➡️Put them on the bottle/s, ➡️Introduce wine product(s)/digital label(s) into the market and ➡️Assess the perceived quality of wines using questionnaires with experts/consumers. . . . #technology #agriculture #agrifood #foodsecurity #foodsustainability #sustainability #sprintchallenge #sipsprint #InnovationAcademy #peerlearnin
