Working with a coding agent?
Runnrβs JSON CLI and MCP interfaces let scripts and agents discover workflows, request local runs, read redacted logs and retry failures.
Useful checks before you push. Hosted verification still has its place.

A failed workflow step doesnβt always tell you enough.
With Runnr, you can pause before a step, inspect its environment and captured contexts, evaluate watches, then step forward or continue.

Your changes shouldnβt need a commit just to check whether the tests pass.
Runnr includes uncommitted changes in local runs by default. Run a whole GitHub Actions workflow or selected jobs, without changing your workflow files.

Iβve released Runnr: a desktop app for running and debugging your existing GitHub Actions workflows locally.
Edit β run checks β fix β push when ready.
Built to shorten the push-and-wait loop.

Today I released Warden V2 π‘οΈ
Itβs a major rebuild of my open-source Laravel security package, now designed as a deterministic security gate for CI and deployment pipelines.
Hereβs what changed π
Existing applications are supported too.
Expiring baselines let teams acknowledge their current findings while continuing to fail CI when new issues are introduced.
You donβt need to clear an entire security backlog before adding a gate.
Install it as a development dependency:
composer require βdev dgtlss/warden
Then initialise the package and CI workflow:
php artisan warden:init βci=github

Signal is terrible when youβre on the train. And this doesnβt fill me with much hope @CrossCountryUK π΅βπ«
Quite a productive week of learning and making.
- Finished my NIS2 Directive Lead Implementer course as part of my cyber security masters.
- Teaching myself how to use fusion360 with the autocad experience I already have.
Now to finish printing the model and do the wiring.
I need a few more @laravelphp related stickers for my YETI ππ
Want to start this by saying the new worms game on mobile is great. Really
Enjoying it. However @Team17 please fix this bug π
This is the third time Iβve had it now, and the only solutions seems to be restarting the level π @WormsTeam17 πͺ±
Iβm excited to share Capsule, a new Laravel package that reimagines backups for modern applications.
Unlike traditional backup tools that first generate a zip on your server and then upload it using precious storage.
Capsule can stream data directly to your configured external filesystem (e.g. S3, FTP, digitalocean spaces).
That means:
β
Zero local disk usage during backup
π Real-time streaming, keeping uploads efficient
π οΈ Flexible configuration to choose disks and include/exclude files as needed
Use it with artisan commands or schedule it with Laravelβs scheduler.
The package handles filesystem setup transparently, and you benefit from clean, efficient, reliable cloud backups.
Check it out on GitHub:

Banning βninjaβ swords is a welcome step, every bit of progress counts. But letβs be honestβ¦ This alone wonβt fix knife crime. We need deeper investment in youth services, education, and community support if we want real, lasting change.
