33 years ago today, Future Crew's Second Reality won Assembly '93. I built speakers out of old hard drives and made them play it. youtu.be/B1ybSPMPWo0

I was 16, downloading this over a BBS on a 14.4 modem. I was already writing assembly, already knew VGA registers. Second Reality humbled me. I saw graphics that felt impossible. Reading the source code three decades later, showed how far ahead they really were. blog.innerlogics.com/second-… (cc Trug @mtuomi, Skaven @skaven252)

No author would like to see his book on the pavement. In this instance, it found a new loving home and joined Missing Kissinger, צִנורות, The Bus Driver, Pizzeria, Suddenly a Knock On The Door, and Kneller's Happy Campers.

So thank you, stranger. I want to believe you enjoyed it so much, you wanted others to read it too.

Formula 1 has announced an exciting and innovative five-year partnership with @AppleTV to become the sport’s exclusive U.S. broadcast partner from 2026. This new broadcast agreement will see Apple TV in the US host all practice, qualifying, Sprint sessions, and Grands Prix. In addition to showing Formula 1 on Apple TV, Apple will amplify the sport across Apple News, Apple Maps, Apple Music, Apple Sports, and Apple Fitness+. The news follows the hugely successful F1® The Movie, the Apple Original Film, which was released internationally in cinemas and IMAX venues in June and has grossed nearly $630 million revenue globally, making it the highest grossing sports movie of all time. True. That is why Bitcoin is based on energy: you can issue fake fiat currency, and every government in history has done so, but it is impossible to fake energy.

Dear Dr. @GadSaad, I intend to buy all the books you published, and can’t wait for Suicidal Empathy to come out. Do you have a preference for an online or physical store so to maximize your royalties?

It must be so exciting and convenient to hate Israel, because you’re never wrong. If you scream for 10 days that U.S. involvement in Iran will lead to World War III and it doesn’t happen? You say your panic tweets “saved the world.” If there’s a ceasefire, it’s because Trump finally turned on Netanyahu. If the ceasefire fails, it’s because Netanyahu can’t be trusted. If Iran violates it, it’s a false flag. If Iran doesn’t violate it, it proves they’re a kind, rational country. If Israel targets a Hamas commander hiding under a hospital, it’s genocide. If they don’t target him, they’re cowards who can't actually take care of Hamas. If the IDF warns civilians to evacuate, it’s a psychological game. If they don’t warn, it’s because they have no regard for life. If you are anti-Israel and something shady comes out about you? Blackmail. If you’re caught on tape saying vile things, it’s only because the Zionists are trying to ruin your career. If Israel asks the U.S. for help, “we’re always fighting their wars.” If Israel doesn’t ask, “The plan is anyways to drag us into another war.” If France, Canada, the UK all supported and joined the Iraq war — “Israel made them do it.” If Israel didn’t join? “They’re cowards who hide behind us.” If Jews are murdered, it's we need “context.” If Jews defend themselves — “Apartheid does that.” If an Israeli is proud — “arrogant.” If an Israeli mourns — “playing victim.” If you criticize Israel — you’re “speaking truth to power.” If someone defends Israel — they’re a “paid lobbyist.” If Hamas hides in tunnels — that’s just smart strategy. If Israel builds bomb shelters — that’s a privilege Gazans don't have. If Gazans suffer — it’s Israel’s fault. If Israelis suffer — it’s their own fault for existing. So yeah. It must be really convenient to be anti-Israel. You never have to be consistent. You never have to explain yourself. You’re never wrong, even when you contradict yourself three times in the same sentence. You’re not expected to offer solutions. You’re not expected to care about facts. You’re not even expected to like Jews, as long as you “hate all war equally.” Your entire worldview is a free pass, and it's built on a pyramid of double standards, contradictions, and outright lies. And you walk around like you’re the enlightened one. Must be nice.
