I hadn't realized that Blitz actually starts crying BEFORE the unlovable asshole/wh0r3 remark, and Stolas has absolutely no reaction to it. He's not moved in any way, in fact he doubles down to hurt him further. Very unlike how Blitz reacts as soon as Stolas starts crying.

what really breaks my heart is how Stella used to have respect for Stolas, and I cant help but think of how she would idealise him to be this "Prince From The Darkness" that would finally take her out of her miserable life and save her from her brother Andrealphus

ofc they don’t fit these tropes to a tee but i still found it interesting. also not too sure abt Vassago. blitz represents the resourceful peasant who exposes the sheltered prince to society. need to think more abt this cuz its not fleshed out but yeah. thought it was interesting
