@mon__lim Hi! Instinct stopped responding to my texts a couple of hours ago and remains down. Any chance you could help?

.@jeff_weinstein got another Link agentic payments request for you. Right now link understands “use the Visa ending in 5637”. Would love to be able to say “pay with the Robinhood Gold Card” for example

I still can’t really believe that @Muse came from within big tech. So much bravery in the design choices and craft in the details. Incredible product so far

Going to double down on what I said last week - @CalFootball has a GRITTY team. Way to grind it out on the road. #gobears
Some thoughts on the @CalFootball game -What an atmosphere. Prime time college football belongs in Berkeley, CA -Huge credit to @UCLAFootball. Physical, tough team. Very well coached. They’re going to make some noise -Have to think about process over results for Cal. Biggest takeaway for me: this is a gritty team. Could easily have folded down 21-10. Final score not indicative of the heart and grit -Man I love watching @JaronKeawe play. There’s the talent, but also the competitive desire on every down. Rolls the ankle and comes back firing Tip the cap to UCLA. I’ll ride with @RonRivera80 and @CoachLup every day of the week and twice on Saturday. Fired up for the rest of the season

Didn't get why Instinct went all-in on iMessage at first. Tried @interaction for a while - novel at first, then it started to feel like spam. iMessage is where my trusted contacts live. Now I totally get it. Kudos @noahrshinn, smart call: - Threads just work. I love @bot but it keeps conflating separate tasks into one thread. Instinct parallel-processes cleanly - Emoji reactions. Small thing, but a reaction on your message feels like work kicked off. An instant receipt of sorts - Siri + CarPlay. AirPods in, "message Instinct," Siri reads incoming texts, I reply by voice or voice note. Fully hands-free in a way I can’t quite do with @bot (or even Siri lol) That last one feels magical. Sending emails, filling out web forms, booking appointments - all by voice while watering the plants. A different computing abstraction entirely

Ran this on both Instinct and Grok @bot Grok was faster and showed more of its work, but didn’t find anything. Instinct was slower and didn’t update on progress, but found a $5.99 price adjustment that it successfully won me credit for. This tracks the general trend I’ve seen comparing the two head to head. Grok Bot is generally faster and more explanatory. I’d also add that in general I find it to be more accurate at filling form fields. Instinct is significantly more persistent, often aggressively so. But it aims to just get the job done. Really fascinating to do head to heads like this! Lots of room in the market for different styles and approaches
Have Instinct? Send it this and get the money you deserve: the full prompt, updated with all of those: "sign into my amazon and audit my ENTIRE order history, not just recent orders. check all of this: (1) every return - did the full refund actually come back? flag any order where the refund is less than what i paid or never came at all, (2) gift card and promotional credit balances sitting unused, (3) items that dropped in price right after i bought them and are still inside the return window, (4) late deliveries on prime orders that were never credited, (5) subscribe & save items that billed at the wrong price or kept shipping after i stopped wanting them, (6) duplicate or double charges on my payment methods, (7) trade-in credit i never got for devices, (8) anything i bought with an active product recall that has a refund or replacement offer, (9) items that died early and might still be under warranty. verify every number against the actual order invoice page before u report it - no guesses. give me an itemized list of exactly what im owed and where. then when i say go, recover it: get on chat with amazon and file the claims"

I’ve now made 5-10 online purchases across @bot and Instinct (@noahrshinn) so I’m an expert in agentic commerce 😉 A few observations: -I mostly want to make agentic payments on trusted platforms right now. Amazon, Shopify store reorders, etc. Everyone (@link @RobinhoodApp etc) wants to be top of wallet for agentic payments…but what if I want to just use the Prime card on file at Amazon? Or just use @shop? Instinct tried to default me to Link, had to tell it to stop -Stripe @link experience generally solid, except for: 1) 15 min timeout on requests is too short, I’m running my agents from my phone and not babysitting them closely, 2) needing to approve every transaction from what I can see (trusted vendor + below trigger amount? Just charge the card -I want my agentic wallet to have all of my credit cards in it, be able to see how many points I have on each, be able to peruse each credit card portal to find deals on travel, etc….interestingly Apple has a pretty good position here with Apple Wallet. Link or Shop Pay could pull this off too… -Firing off a voice note to an agent and seeing a package arrive on your doorstep the next day is pretty wild…something about AI crossing into the physical world that feels meaningful

I've been using @bot as my computer for a bit. email, docs, a few bills. macbook's just sitting there. don't think I buy another one for personal use

On Grok Bot, Instinct, and privacy: It feels to me that Instinct didn’t get the capability / risk tradeoff right. The reaction to @clairevo post is proof in the pudding. Part of this is data retention and storage (eg keeping your passwords and card details in a “vault”), part of it is aggressiveness (eg reports that it’ll change your password to get into a system if need be) Grok Bot seems much more sensible in this regard. Passwords are typed in by user in the browser (friction!), but not captured by Bot. Grok Bot’s default disclosure model feels pretty sensible too - it announces any and all risky actions and asks for permission (friction!) The tradeoff is, as noted, increased friction vs Instinct. Fundamentally there is no capability gap between the two, if anything Grok Bot is much more powerful. But Instinct’s lack of friction (fewer turns, longer runs) gives it that “magic” feeling. That said - I think they still got it wrong. The first time they that “frictionless” turns into “scary” (eg a notification from an email account you disconnected), it’s over. That user churns 90 times out of 100. Grok Bot starts with a more sensible default and makes it tunable. An example of a really savvy product decision, and what can happen when it’s lacking

A reflection on Grok Bot (@bot) from a heavy Claude (@claudeai) user: Grok Bot just does things. Quickly, accurately, and exactly as you asked. Claude often thinks for ages. It often takes a suggested approach and then comes back with every possible alternative before proceeding. This can be extremely helpful at times. But sometimes you just want the thing done on spec. Grok Bot really nails that, which makes it significantly better suited for "chief of staff" type stuff

I've been super impressed with @bot Interestingly...seems to mostly use a model called "sand-default", but also calls Opus or Gemini depending on task... (screenshot is from my usage this month, which is all Grok Bot)

Claude Code team has been on fire, but Dispatch is pretty bad. Can only spin up new local sessions, can't control existing. Defaults to Sonnet 4.6 for a lot of stuff even when I tell it not to. Any local sessions started with Dispatch don't seem to inherit auto mode perms. Maybe just...Claude Code desktop /rc ? cc @bcherny

One of the biggest pain points for small business owners with a team: managing team spend. This solves it - right inside your Found account.
With team cards, you can issue physical or virtual cards to your team members, set custom spending limits, and track purchases. All from your Found account. Team cards launched in beta today, and will be available to all customers in the new year. 🥳

Testing @diabrowser and @PerplexityComet head to head, some observations: -Like the design / feel of Dia better. Comet feels a little too robot-y, Dia feels friendlier -Dia seems to be smoother / faster -Comet on a completely different level in terms of "agent" capabilities. Can take over and conduct actions (scroll, click, etc.). Dia cannot at all -I want to use Dia AI assistant more, but shy away because once the chat is done it feels like it's gone into the ether. Hard to retrieve chat history. Comet has the huge advantage of having the Perplexity mobile app where you can track everything even when away from computer -Comet's new tab "dashboard" is really good. Also generally do a better job of educating on what is possible with their AI assistant Still no clear winner in my mind - if Dia could do Comet's "browser takeover" stuff I think it would win out for me. But nobody's cracked mobile yet, and I yearn for a unified experience across desktop + mobile. Let the games begin :)

Oh also - Dia's command-e to invoke assistant much more natural than Comet's option-a...not sure why, just is
