There are many ways to package a return to India after a (rather long, perhaps lucrative) stint in the US. But the undisputed gold standard, the one guaranteed to win hearts, is ‘to spend time with my aging parents’
That is how we Indians wired. ‘I don’t want to grow old in the US’ or ‘I found a great opportunity back home’ may be closer to the truth but then it lacks sacrificial appeal.
We are a country that celebrates the prodigal son returning to care for his aging parents. Returning because of a great career opportunity? How terribly self serving, no?

Good thing Europe is welcoming in BYD and Chinese car companies to invest in Europe.
Norwegian soldiers discovered that Chinese-owned Volvo rental cars recorded and stored videos during a major military exercise in Oslo from September 14–18.
The footage captured soldiers entering and leaving vehicles, their movements, locations and even security codes used to access restricted areas.
Despite the discovery, the military continued using the cars due to a lack of alternatives.

The council believes Juwani has overspent the office of the First Lady of New York City's budget by more than $1.6 million.
"We need answers," said Staten Island Ombudsman Malcom Reynolds. "The city isn't built to support that kind of spending. Where is the shortfall coming from? The free grocery stores?"
Reynolds says if they don't get satisfactory answers, the council will forward the file to the New York Attorney General.

Second capital should be tripoint of Karnataka, TG and MH- poorest regions of all 3 richest states.
Lot of barren land available and since all 3 states are rich they can contribute for the development of their poorest regions along with GOI. No one language will dominate
India needs a second capital.
While Delhi shall remain the first, this city is always occupied with unnecessary protests & instigations. Plus remains an abomination culturally.
The 2nd capital must showcase the cultural heritage & powerful history. My recommendation is Hampi.
That way, the former glory of the mighty Vijayanagara empire can be reinstated instead of celebrating its ruins.
If not Hampi then, Pune. But the latter is already cramped.
