It's mad that, aside from 'The Parting of the Ways', this is easily the best regeneration story of the past 40 years.
Four years ago today, The Power of The Doctor first aired on BBC One and iPlayer as part of the BBC Centenary.. and we sadly said goodbye to The Thirteenth Doctor with the blossomiest blossom 💔 #DoctorWho 💙💙

Happy 20th birthday to the most glorious group of screwed-up, fabulously-dressed, alien-fighting bisexuals the world has ever seen #torchwood

Rex Matheson. It’s strange how effortlessly emotional this character is for one that starts in such an unlikable place. The arc he undergoes isn’t just well done, but the most shining example of brilliance in Miracle Day. For tying together so many themes, parallels, and foils.

Gwen Cooper. A truly special character, a protagonist that is so fundamental to what the series is. Not truly for her narrative importance but the significance of what she comes to represent. She is the shining example of how Torchwood is and always will be a hopeful story.

One nice thing about (almost) every Torchwood character because I love this cast and fandom.
Jack Harkness. I’ve spoken once about this but Jack is a character who accomplishes so much, but most of all makes me feel. Such a tragic yet beautiful figure to tie Torchwood around.
