This is why I'm intrigued by celluloid. With digital sensors we are always looking at a representation of a measured reality. With celluloid there's an actual physical original that is being created. Proof of existence. Spiritually, I gravitate towards that.

For example. The entire fun of Twitch isn’t just watching a video game. It’s to watch a human you like exert a lot of effort playing a game you like. Entertainment is not just looking at amazing images. Entertainment is about watching human effort triumph.

I'm really rooting for Apple to present an earnest, private and secure implementation of AI for a mainstream audience. We've seen with the App Store how much influence their platform has on mainstream technology.

Whatever's at the core of this AI craze, it's not going away. I'm choosing to root for ethical alternatives, so we keep having a choice.

Maybe it's too hopeful (probably) to think it will be Apple, or this soon... Being critical, yet optimistic is the only way I can be solution oriented tho.

No way, haha. Sometimes I forget to stop and take a moment to see where I am. I don’t remember tweeting this at all, but I actually did it. This past June I had my residency @almostperfectjp in Tokyo. Now working on getting my first art prints available for the public. Exciting!
