At Umbra, our focus has always been on agility - in our vehicles, our production systems, and our capabilities.
Yesterday, Umbra-13 and Umbra-14 successfully deployed and made contact following their launch aboard @SpaceX's Bandwagon-5 rideshare mission from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The pair builds on our operational heritage, advances our third-generation system, and adds more American-made capability for the United States, its allies, and partners.
We've spent years pushing the boundaries of what's possible with space-based radar from industry-leading image quality and collection capacity to flying satellites in formation for cooperative imaging to meet critical mission needs. These aren't future ambitions. We've built, flown, and proven them all on orbit.
Redefine Space isn't about putting the most satellites in orbit.
It's about investing in multi-mission capability and vertical integration to expand what each satellite can do.

Accelerating government missions requires a different approach to how capabilities are developed, acquired, and deployed.
At yesterday's "Faster to Science" Industry Day at @NASA Headquarters, Umbra's @mouthofmorrison discussed where commercial solutions can accelerate the science mission lifecycle, the considerations driving build-or-buy decisions, and the importance of encouraging greater risk tolerance among NASA researchers.
At Umbra, we're putting that approach into practice. By delivering high-resolution SAR imagery to NASA and other government customers, we're providing proven commercial capabilities that support mission requirements without the time and complexity of developing systems.
The technology exists. The opportunity is to put it to work.
26 million students ride the school bus twice a day—yet the system has seen little innovation in 80 years.
Zum Founder & CEO @ritun joined @CNBC @jonfortt to discuss how Zum is transforming student mobility through technology and integrated operations.

Today we're launching Odyssey-3, the most powerful foundation world model yet.
It sets a new state of the art on Physics-IQ, and powers robots, trains AIs, and generates interactive experiences. It's really cool.

Image quality drives utility.
The Port of Long Beach handles more than $300 billion in trade annually, making visibility into change across its complex infrastructure critical.
High-resolution SAR imagery provides the detail needed to detect and characterize that change. Layered with change detection, individual collections become a clearer picture of activity over time.
At Umbra, we’ve built our constellation to consistently deliver the high-quality data that enables these capabilities.
The imagery performs, and we deliver.

I gave you all the heads-up!!
Now Financial Datasets is one of the hottest companies at demo day.
1 week ago: we were his first check.
Now:
Oversubscribed. Taking strategic and 5 star investor checks.
I asked Virat how much he wanted to raise, and he said he’s not sure he even needs to raise anything.
He still has every dollar he’s ever raised in the bank.
They’re growing 31% since July.
WEEK OVER WEEK.
31% week-over-week growth and cash flow positive. Crossed 200k annualized revenue halfway through the batch and has increased growth rate as he scales.
Second derivative of revenue is positive. (My favorite metric milestone)
He can share actual revenue numbers but check out the gorgeous graph below.
Contact me if you want an intro at jason@orangecollective.vc
The entire internet will eventually be 99% agentic usage. He’s starting with financial data and then moving into government data, health data, insurance data - any part of the economy that has hard to access, often regulated datasets, will need agentic infrastructure to access it. It’s an enormous vision.
If you’re at Demo Day, find @virattt , he’s simultaneously the most ambitious and most thoughtful founder you’ll meet.
There is a new kind of startup that answers the call:
"Make something agents want."
which is a spin on YC's classic slogan: "Make something people want."
Financial Datasets helps agents connect to stock market data.
Yes, you a person, can sign up for Financial Datasets.
But most of their impressive growth is agents finding them, self-serve signing up, and using the product.
This is a wild timeline.
@virattt has a history of building fintech infrastructure. Proud to back him.
