I've been thinking about this a few days ago
It's not just Google, it's an Android wide issue especially with 3rd party apps that don't handle it
Even though many Android system parts are transparent this specific bar shows up in most of the unoptimized 3rd party apps
Google launched its iPhone like navigation bar back in 2019.. Seven. Whole. Freakin. Years. Later. Android still hasn’t gotten it right
That’s the difference between iOS and Android
• For Apple.. having a feature isn’t the goal.. just so they can say they have it.. the priority is perfecting the feature before shipping it to you
• For Android.. having the feature is the priority.. just so they can say they have it.. getting it right is an afterthought
Apple’s priority is user experience.
Android’s priority is checking the boxes.
For his last tweet as CEO, he actually posted it from an Android 🫣
