Политологу вменяют незаконное производство, сбыт или пересылку наркотиков в крупном размере. Она предусматривает от от 10 до 20 лет лишения свободы.

Первомайский районный суд Пензы арестовал на 14 суток блогера Станислава Морозова по протоколу о мелком хулиганстве. Об этом «7х7» сообщили в пресс-службе суда. Причины там не уточнили.
19 сентября Морозов опубликовал видео, на котором он голосует на выборах, стоя посреди улицы. Он перечеркнул на бюллетене имя кандидата из «Единой России», а напротив всех остальных поставил галочки. На другом бюллетене блогер написал «Путин — х*йло».
Мама Морозова подтвердила «Осторожно, новости» его задержание. По ее словам, она не знает причину.
Станислав Морозов — пензенский видеоблогер. В этом году он активно освещал ситуацию с задержанием местных жителей и принуждением их заключать контракты с Минобороны.
После публикации ролика о избиениях сотрудников военкоматов, в котором Морозов сравнивал происходящее с Украиной и призывал жителей Пензы «объединяться», ФСБ возбудила против него уголовное дело о призывах к экстремистской деятельности, пишет SOTAvision. 1 июля блогера ненадолго задержали, но отпустили под подписку о невыезде.

Fair enough. But Baltic efforts to calm the rhetoric do not, in themselves, tell us much about the underlying threat. Governments have to manage the economic and societal consequences of public warnings. Ukraine reacted in quiet similar way when the United States began warning of a Russian invasion in fall 2021. Kyiv was explicitly urging Washington and Western media to tone down talk of an imminent attack, warning that such rhetoric was damaging investment environment and the economic stability.

If reports are true that France supports sanctions lifting on Fridman & Usmanov as it wants Azerbaijan to release 2 French citizens, this implies:
1. Azerbaijan coordinates with Russia and serves its interests;
2. France has shown weakness and set a precedent.
We urgently need clarity.
The EU has agreed today to lift sanctions on two Russian oligarchs, Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman, both sanctioned on Feb. 28, 2022.
The move was pushed by Slovakia, with support from France (!) and Luxembourg.
Whatever the rumours behind France’s position, this is a very bad decision for the EU’s credibility.
Russia will read it as a signal that anything is possible, and it’s just a matter of time, consistency and money.

Being debunked by Lukashenko is yet another new low for Trump.
Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko says Belarus cannot supply potash to the United States under Donald Trump's proposed "deal" with Belarus.
Lukashenko said today, "Even if we wanted to supply somewhere else, Western markets, we just don't have those volumes, everything has been contracted."
Donald Trump announced on Truth Social earlier that he was working on a "massive Deal with respect to the purchase of Potash from Belarus. The pricing would be for substantially less than we are currently paying to Canada."
It appears that Lukashenko just counter-signalled Trump's announcement.

Alisher Usmanov is not simply a “Russian businessman.”
His USM group includes Metalloinvest. A Ukrainian court found that Metalloinvest subsidiaries Lebedinsky GOK and Mikhailovsky GOK supplied iron-ore products to Russian industrial companies linked to Uralvagonzavod — part of Rostec and a producer of battle tanks for Russia’s Ministry of Defence.
The EU itself identifies Metalloinvest as Usmanov’s largest holding and a major source of revenue for the Russian state.
This is a concrete industrial link to Russia’s war economy. Any discussion about removing sanctions on Usmanov should start with these facts.

What “veneer”?
The so-called Duma elections marked another major setback for Russian democracy. Their outcome was never in doubt.
The Kremlin silenced dissent, barred the only registered party that opposed its war in Ukraine, and shut out international election monitors.
The veneer of democracy is all that remains in Russia.
I have proposed measures against those facilitating these sham elections in occupied Ukrainian territories.
